Greenwashing/How we go Green

            Greenwashing is the appearance of “going Green” without actually doing so.  Several organizations nationwide advertise their services as organic or environmentally safe through clever wordplay without actually making the effort to make a difference.  Servicon is proud to go Green, and is committed to doing it right.  For Servicon, this is a matter of responsibility, health, and honesty, not image.  We use products licensed by Green Seal, an independent, non-profit organization that provides objective certification on a wide range of products and services based on environmental and human health criteria. In conjunction with Green products we tailor our services to meet each one of our client’s specific needs.  We train our employees to be knowledgeable about the products they are using and the proper ways to handle them. This includes a continual research of the most progressive and up to date methods reducing our environmental impact.
