Jose Guerrero, HR and Loss and Control Manager

Jose has over 15 years of experience in the Safety and Worker’s Compensation field, with exposure to regulatory requirements in more than 20 states. Safety and Worker’s Compensation experience includes overseeing those operations as Safety Manager with a Payroll management, Security, and temporary staffing companies, whose clients included internet, travel agencies, manufacturing, warehousing, and mining companies, city municipalities, oil companies and construction entities, amongst many others. Responsible for interacting with all TPA’s, brokers, attorneys (both defense and applicant), attending hearings and conferences and approval of any settlement made. Experienced with Captive and Self0-Insured Programs, and policies with a large deductible. Mr. Guerrero has been designated as an Expert Witness in Worker’s Compensation by the Superior Court of California, after assisting in a bad faith lawsuit brought against SCIF (State Compensation Insurance Fund), for manipulation of reserves for the purpose of artificially maintaining high premiums and the applications of surcharges and the improper adjusting of claims which resulted in a higher incurred cost than should have been paid. He adds important experience to our management team.

Manuel Cardoza, Corporate Compliance Officer

Manuel Cardoza has more than fifteen years of experience in the custodial industry, eleven of those years with Servicon Systems, Inc.Mr. Cardoza has held the following positions: Project Manager, Assistant Area Manager, and Area Manager.Mr. Cardoza is currently assigned as our Corporate/Health Care Compliance Officer and is charged with oversight of our renowned Quality Assurance Program.Under his leadership Servicon has developed and implemented the QA Metrics and Inspections Web Program. Mr. Cardoza is also our Compliance Committee Chair Person responsible for the development and implementation of our policies and procedures.His duties include the coordination of internal/external compliance audits, risk assessment of the organization and development/training of our Safety Training Procedures. Clients in the Aerospace Industry have designated Mr. Cardoza as a Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist, Clean Room Specialist at all classification levels, and Space Hardware Certification Trainer. Mr. Cardoza recently attended the Healthcare Compliance Resources Course in Atlanta earning the 2007 HCR Compliance Certification Course (Awarded 24 CEVs). Cleared DOD, as a veteran of the US Army has served our country 10 years with an Honorable Discharge. He attended the Pacific Coast Institute and received accreditation as Computer Office Administrator, attended Los Angeles Community College and graduated from Los Angeles High School.
